Our Story
Sam was saved out of a life of partying and alcoholism in September of 2004, after being accidentally shot and realizing where his life was headed if he didn’t surrender to Jesus. Christie was saved shortly after and they began serving in the local church. Sam felt the call to preach way back then, but didn’t follow it, instead Christie and Sam settled into life and work, and began to start a family.
Joshua Randal was born in September of 2006, Shortly after his birth, Christie was miraculously healed of a lifelong battle with epilepsy. Then in August of 2008, along came Taylor Christine. Sam & Christie vowed to themselves and God to always raise their children in church, and to this day, with God’s mercy and grace, they have stuck by that. Then to their surprise in May of 2017 Sadie Grace was born. Sam & Christie are proud to say that each one of their children has a relationship with Jesus, & serve along side of them in their ministry. Josh is a dynamic preacher, who often tag team preaches with his dad. Taylor is a worshiper, who leads worship with her sister Sadie, Yes even Sadie has a part, you should see that little girl worship!
At the beginning of 2022, after ministering at teen challenge, they came home and Sam was thanking God for the powerful works He did through their family in that meeting. Sam ask God why it took so long for him to get the opportunity to follow the call to preach, and The Lord spoke to him and said, “Your family has been your ministry, and now your family is going to be a ministry to others!”
As of October of 2023 Sam & Christie currently serve as the Junior High Pastors at Life Church of Lafayette, in Lafayette Louisiana. They enjoy pouring into the lives of 11-13 year olds every Wednesday night!
